Buke Beussee drove this car at Athens Speedway in 1965.


Buck Simmons in Jabo's #41 with Charlie Burkhalter in the #30 coming around on the outside of Aaron Gailey in Wendell Roach's #7.

Bill York #4 out front followed by Buke Beussee in the #30 and looks like Charlie Mincey in the #16 car at Athens Speedway sometime in 1965.


This car was originally built by C.P. Shaw and Shorty Vinson for driver Charlie Mincey. 

Watson's bought the the hull from Ed Massey (father-in-law to Leon "Slick" Sells GRHOF inductee in 2009).

After the "Skeeters" era came to an end after the 1968 season the Watson's carried on with their racing efforts fielding Late Model cars on into the seventies.
